Bari, 12/11/2025 – CitySi Srl, a leading company in the production of urban furniture solutions, proudly announces the formal launch of the process to obtain the Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) for its main product lines: steel, steel–wood, and steel–aluminum with wood-effect finishes.

This strategic initiative reaffirms CitySi’s commitment not only to delivering high-quality products, but also to ensuring maximum transparency regarding their environmental impact throughout the entire life cycle.

Certified Environmental Transparency

The EPD (Environmental Product Declaration) is a voluntary Type III certification in accordance with the international standard ISO 14025. It provides quantified and independently verified data on a product’s environmental performance.

• Verification Process: The entire assessment and verification process is conducted in accordance with ISO 14025.

• Calculation Basis: The scientific study underlying the certification, known as Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), has been entrusted to a specialized and independent body: ForeThinking Srl Società Benefit (www.forethinking.com).

• Category Rules: The calculation has been developed in accordance with the Product Category Rules (PCR) established by the International EPD® System (PCR 2019:14 – Construction products), ensuring methodological rigor and global comparability.

Why EPD Certification Is Crucial

Obtaining EPD certification is of fundamental importance for CitySi Srl and its stakeholders, particularly public bodies and municipal administrations:
